THE VETERANS WELCOME HOME COMMITMENT

Walmart is stepping up for our veterans, just as they have stood up for us. Through the “Veterans Welcome Home Commitment,” Walmart expects to hire 100,000 veterans by 2018. If you have been honorably discharged within the past 12 months and meet our standard hiring criteria, there’s a position for you at Walmart or Sam’s Club.

“Hiring a veteran can be one of the best decisions an organization can make. They bring that seriousness and sense of purpose that the military instills. Our nation has invested in their skills, and it shows. As a veteran, you have fought for your country; you shouldn’t have to fight for a job.”

– Bill Simon, Walmart U.S. CEO and U.S. Navy Veteran
