ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • If you have been honorably discharged from the U.S. military within the last 12 months and meet our standard hiring criteria, there’s a position for you at Walmart or Sam’s Club.
  • Veterans who have been discharged from service more than 12 months ago are not eligible for priority status, but will be highly valued candidates based on their training and experience.

    Store and Club positions in key customer service areas and shifts.

    Available openings are dependent on current staffing needs. Typical Store and Club openings may include part time cashier, inventory associate and stocker positions. We will make every attempt to place qualified veteran applicants within 50 miles of their requested location. As over 75% of Walmart managers started their career as an hourly associate in our Stores and Clubs, this is a great opportunity for veterans to start and explore opportunity at Walmart.

    Walmart and Sam’s Club will offer career counseling to help each qualified veteran find a position that best matches their individual skill set and experience.
